Our meter jacket (The Meter Glove) is made from Waterproof Canvas and insulated with fleece material providing outstanding protection for water meters. Like ski gloves for your meter. The jacket protects the meter for below freezing temperatures for limited periods of time. Though the jacket does provide a great deal of  protection it may not be enough during long extended below freezing events. Other solutions should be used for long, harsh freezes.  Meter jackets are typically installed where meters are exposed to freezing temperatures. The Jacket fits most mechanical 3/4" as well as most 3/4" Residential Ultrasonic meters. Larger sizes are available. If used with wireless Smart water meter Sku# 0037 the top of The Meter Glove can remain closed providing an additional measure of protection as the meter will transmit the reads through jacket.
